Regarding the article Juan Fajardo posted about the '"FARC's airforce."
The article did not say that the military knew who was flying the plane in
question, only that the general thought it might be the FARC.

In any case it was an interesting show, watched by a lot of people on the
ground. The mystery plane was a very fast two engine prop plane. It didn't
look like any old Cessna or Piper, but more like a miltary plane. In fact,
it looked similar to the Fantasmas the Colombian air force flies.

Possibly it was a complete hoax - the airforce chasing their own plane. If
it wasn't, it would be interesting to know who was really flying the
mystery plane.

As for the FARC having an airforce, the FARC probably does have an air
force of sorts. The backcountry of Colombia has lots and lots of little
bulldozed airfields used by ranchers, drug dealers, paramilitaries, the
FARC, and who knows who else. But I think it would be very difficult for
the FARC to aquire a military aircraft, which is waht the plane in
question seemd to have been.
