Re: NZ Alliance
My old friend the late Bob Leach put such store in the Alliance and
particularly in Anderton. He did everything he oculd to promote Alliance
politics here in Australia. And now it has come to this - ending not with
a bang but a whimper and a stifled one at that.
It is interesting to see the legacy of failure and betrayal played out so
clearly. Here in Oz the media are predicting a big swing to Helen Clark
and her Labor colleagues.
Is voting compulsory in NZ or will there be an historically low turn out?
When will we get out of this historical period? When will there be a
breakout and through?
regards
Gary
