Walter Rodney and information requests on reading
I'm reading this book by Walter Rodney, an African Marxist who struggled
intellectually and politically in the sphere of the "periphery" of the
proletariat, in Guyana. It's called "How Europe Underdeveloped Africa".
Does anyone know if any more of his work, or that of similar Marxists, is
available online or elsewhere? I am mostly interested in his kind of
analysis, though I don't even know what it is called. Maybe, Third World
Marxism, or Black Marxism? Essentially, Marxist works focusing on the
effects of imperialism on the Global South.
Also, I'd appreciate a list of books that address possible links between
capitalism and socio-cultural decay and political apathy in the America.
Thanks in advance.
