Re: Moderator's warning to Jim Drysdale

How do I know this? I spent lots of time in Nicaragua, which had a
revolution. Nobody except Sandinista cadres--and a minority at
that--thought in terms of abolishing money or commodity production. They
rose up because there was a volcano that killed 10,000 people and the
Somoza government was using foreign aid to line the pockets of its cronies
while people went hungry and babies died because clean water was unavailable.
>JD: As far as I can see we *still* are dominated by capital.
So what in Sam Hill does this have to do with the mandate of this list? Do
we need to be reminded by you that there is a capitalist system?

This kind of hot air could send a dirigible to the moon.

This list has about 400 subscribers that by all evidence has mastered the
abc's of Marxist economics, as well as the rest of the alphabet. Why are
you trying to educate us? Go out into the community and explain the wonders
of m-c-m' to the untutored masses. JUST NOT HERE.

That would be a pleasant surprise. From all you have written about
Scotland, one might venture to guess that you lived on Neptune.

That's right. I am the boss. Just like C. Montgomery Burns on "The
Simpsons". Watch out or you will no longer have a job at my nuclear power
plant.
>PPS: Like youself I read meaningful media most every day. Unlike yourself,

I have no idea what you mean by decline. When I post something about forest
fires, it is not meant to indicate whether the system is in decline or not.
It is rather to show how a particular capitalist contradiction is played
out. I suppose I could say that capitalism causes forest fires or
something, but I don't want to make a fool of myself. Hint-hint.

Oh, you are among workers? How inspiring. May I touch the hem of your garment.

God, save me from such banal observations.

You end here, period.
