In the 1980's Ralph was a Trotskyist. He was closely related to Socialist
Action, and was a former member of the Socialist Workers Party.

I can't help you about his conspiracy theories, the differences between him
and anyone else ont he planet today, or anything else more recent than
1990. In the 1980's however his criticism of Israel and Zionism, and his
support of the Palestinian people, was powerful, and principled (in my
humble opinion)
