By chance, two days ago I noticed a different speech of Fidels no longer carried
socialism or death and checked the last few months of speeches reproduced by
www.Granma.cu and found them all absent the phrase about socialism. Curious if
anyone knows what is up with that? For the record, since I see this came up in
an unfortunate fashion before, I consider Fidel Castro to be the clearest
thinker and leader in todays world and by a hefty margin, as well.
Nonetheless, perhaps I'm paranoid, but I liked reading that "reassuring" phrase.
