March 23 saw 1 million (according to cops) or 3 million (according to
demonstrators) in Rome. Dominant color of march, at least from what I
saw on French/Italian tv was red.
Willl a union movement in motion just stop with union demands? That's
one question I have. What will it inspire elsewhere?
According to a Lexis-Nexus search, 5 major newspapers in the U.S.
carried the story. (Actually, the early edition of the NY Times carried it,
but later ones didn't and it wasn't posted.)
