Allow me to call your attention that the criminal policies followed by US-
trained, US-backed and US-sponsored regimes in Latin America have provided an
excellent ground for the flourishing of new branches of science, such as a
forensic specialty dealing with the remains of the desaparecidos...

And then there are people who say that imperialism doesn't foment scientific
development in the Third World...
