I am not interested in "modern" sources per se. I am interested in
Marxist scholarship. You have a way of dumping all sorts of bourgeois
social science into this forum without betraying any familiarity with
Marxist anthropology. I am losing patience with this.

There is no point debating these questions interminably. This mailing
list is not hospitable to bourgeois social science, whether in
anthropology, economics or psychology. If somebody came here posting
10,000 byte articles on a daily basis citing Robert Ardrey to show
that there is a "territorial imperative" or Jared Diamond in order to
prove that ecology determines history, we might entertain those
arguments for a day or two in order to refute them. There will come a
time, and before long, when I tell you that your promotion of
bourgeois social science--especially that which emanates from
colonialism--is off-topic. At least nemomini understood that he was
debating against Marxism and was tactful enough not to make himself
the center of attention. Your problem seems to be that you do not
understand that you are fighting against Marxist views on
anthropology.
