I for one have been very, very impressed with Leslie's performance and tenacity
through this struggle. One could do far worse than to look to her as a model of
effective leadership in a battle for contested real-world territory. I certainly
feel privileged to have seen her in action from October 2000 to today, and would
easily name her among the very small number of truly outstanding activists I
know.
