Re: Three Letter to "The Militant"
The interesting thing is that the SWP hasn't shown up to a single
anti-war event in Atlanta. Not one.
We had a demonstration in town today - a showing of about 150 people.
Workers World, Socialist Worker, and Revolutionary Garbage - I mean,
Worker - abounded, but not a single Militant.
Which is interesting. The Georgia Coalition for Peace consists of
anarchists, ISOers, WWers, Maoists, Greens, and "unaffiliated
activists." But no SWP. (On a side note, let me tell you that one of
the most surprising - and most heartening - things I've seen is that
fights don't break out in the coalition meetings.)
Nobody here can figure it out. The SWP is supposedly against the war.
There is no "competing" coalition against the war - why aren't they
even sending people to sell papers? Doesn't make any sense to me.
