RE: Forward from Anthony re Malvinas
Lenin would have clipped all extraneous text before replying to a message, so
should you.

With usual eloquence and penetrating insight, Louis wrote:
What is more challenging is to look at the concrete reality of
Argentine society [or any society/issue]and history to answer the
questions that have come up here. Without establishing the theoretical
foundations [and just some basic facts] it makes no sense to talk about
what position to take on the Malvinas, etc.
Response (Jim C) Many Indian activists who have worked with self-identified
non-Indian leftists (particularly "vanguardists") get the feeling of
"gotcha" and crude formulaics in the respsonses they get to their views and
presentations on Indian issues. Instead of seeing the totality of what is
being presented and argued, or seeing the totality of the work of a
particular activist, some Indian activists often get some of the same
"cherrypicking", linear reductionism, mantras and "little boxes" that some
on the left correctly point out as the essence of bourgeois ideology.
