Yes, Loyalists are fascists, but as for ordinary working class Protestants,
the IRSP and the INLA have always had members who came from that
background, so it is possible to reach them through socialist politics.

The problem with SF is that the left wing of the party has largely been
pushed into a closet while the more conservative elements hold the
reins. McGuinness, for example, has never struck me as being particularly
left or indeed even particularly political.

Mr. Cahill is long known as anti-Republican and anti-Republican Socialist,
i.e. a typical Irish socialist.
