To Alan was Re: An letter to Against the Current

Now Alan,

This is uncalled for. Carroll's unfounded and willfully provocative
iremark to Lou about Lou being anti-woman has now been matched by you
calling Xxxx "sectarian".

What is making you uncomfortable is the implication, unintended by Xxxx I
am suspect, that your party was wrong in East Timor. You yourself
disagreed with the organisation but I suppose now in the Zinovievest
manner you have to defend he party line. Of course within the logic of
Zinovievism those who criticise the party are sectarians.

Despite your protestations with each passing day it becomes clear that it
was a mistake to support imperialist intervention in East Timor. Jared's
point about the role of Holbroke is well taken. He supervised the
slaughter and then he supervised the takeover (termed 'rescue' by the DSP).

Now over to Jose.

regards

Gary
