Was this meeting in Toronto just concerned with building the left among
the English-speaking residents of Toronto/Ontario? Did it raise or ignore
the issues arising from the nationalist and sometimes separatist feelings
of French-speakiers (Quebecois, Acadians)? Were issues around the
exploitation and oppression of Native people raised?
Whether the left coalesces into a movement or a party, I think dealing
with issues arising from the existence of different nations in the same
state are important to confront.
