I agree with Philip. Luxemburg did not condone national oppression,
including oppression of Poles by Russians and others. This is obvious from
her writings on the national question. Polish industry in her time had grown
largely by penetrating Russian markets. The 'theory' of socialism in one
country had not been invented. Just as the future of Polish capitalism was
linked with the development of Russian capitalism, the future of Polish
workers' movement seemed inconceivable without uniting with Russian workers'
movement. Lenin once compared the right to secede with the right to divorce.
Bolsheviks advocated right to divorce, they did not demand breakup of all
marriages.
