No, not at all. The "Empire" of Hardt-Negri has no center, but the
war-making machine being assembled right now has a center in
Washington, DC/New York City, the political and financial capitals of
US imperialism. The terrorists did not choose to attack some
amorphous global target, but the two targets of the world's number
one cop-crook.
As far as the "multitude" in London is concerned, whoever organized
it, we can be sure it was not the NGO's who chickened out of
protesting in Washington, DC at the end of December nor the white
coveralls/black bloc type activists who seem totally disoriented by
recent events, like the proverbial deer caught in the headlights of a
car. I strongly suspect that the main organizers are moldy old fig
Marxists, like the ones who are represented here.
