One side-effect of the WTC attack is that finally we don't have to
put up with hype about "Empire" in the culture pages of the bourgeois
press for the foreseeable future. As I tried to get across in my
remarks on Hardt-Negri, black bloc, etc., this kind of middle-class
radicalism rested on fairly insubstantial foundations. With the first
strong wind, it blew apart like the straw house in the "Three Little
Pigs".
