Strange you should mention that, but the CWI's Socialist Party in Dublin
call for the right of Orangemen to march down the Garvaghy Road to be
respected. Their position on the National (Irish)question is that there
should be some form of Federation between the 60 Million strong England and
the 6 Million strong Ireland, with perhaps some special dispensation for the
Loyalist 'Working Class' whereby they get to retain their priveleges if they
wave the Red Flag (Oh yeah!).
Their stance on the Malvinas (and strange how Xxxx let the mask slip on his
use of the Imperialist term) is entirely in keeping with their rhetoric.

What I find peculiar is the way that always and everywhere they can find the
perfect position to weaken the true Left in their struggle against
Imperialism/Capitalism (Same thing) - usually under the guise of describing
anti-imperialists as Sectarian/Bourgeois/Nationalist/Chauvinists (and being
absolutely blind to the class composition and direction of action of such
forces - while themselves ignoring their own composition and origins). At
the same time I have never heard of a Socialist Party member actually locked
up for any activism (well, apart from a few nights experiencing the true
'Working Class' nature of the Police force).

Xxxx, if you are honest, reconsider the impact that the policies you
proclaim actually have on those at the cutting (rough) edge of struggle. How
you impact on reality (not in the way that you think - if at all). Finally,
if you will, I would advise you to venture beyond merry old England and if
you want to lecture those of us who live the experience of the colonial
world - experience it yourself! You would soon see the way that ordinary
people in third world countries view sitting on the fence in terms of the
Malvinas or any of your other 'bourgeois revolutionary positions'.
