My understanding is that Ocean is run by a couple of former members of what
is today the Australian DSP. I know of no reason to believe any claim that
anything they've published was "stolen" from Pathfinder, except perhaps the
idea of spreading the truth about the Cuban revolution as widely as possible
but then again that's hardly the sort of thing one can claim ownership of.

I gotta ask -

What exactly is the deal with Ocean Press and
Pathfinder? I've heard - from various sources - that
Ocean basically stole what they have from Pathfinder,
and somehow wrangled it legally so they have the
rights to it.

That always sounded rather fishy to me, especially
given Pathfinder's practices (MIA, as an example).

Anyone have the scoop on that?
