A Sorry Tale
Barry Stoller cited a report < "I'm proud to be American and I hate Arabs
and I always have," said 19-year-old Colin Zaremba who marched with the
group from Oak Lawn. >
Zaremba -- that's a good old fashioned Anglo Saxon name, isn't it? Sounds
Polish to me -- perhaps he doesn't know of the times when the Poles were
discriminated against, not least under the Nazis, who tried to turn the
Poles as a nation into skivvies for the Third Reich. I wonder if he's a
relation of Zygmunt Zaremba, an old-time Polish socialist, a hero of the
Warsaw uprising in 1944, a real internationalist...
