OK, I'll tell you.

In my original post, I meant to say that "75% of
parapsychologists are frauds." It being the early
morning, somehow that got typed in as "75% of
psychologists are frauds." Which is not what I think.
Psychology and parapsychology are two different
cookies, despite sharing the same root word.

When Louis decided to make a dig at psychology, I
replied that while there's a lot of hokum in
psychology, I haven't come to dismiss the entire
discipline. Nor am I likely to. I haven't had any
psych training outside of an "intro to psych" course I
took in college, but I know enough from my father (a
clinical psychologist) to know that psychologists do a
lot of good work. And of course Roland made mention of
experimental psychology - an invaluable discipline if
there ever was one.

In other words, I meant exactly what I said.
