I went to high school with an Eli Moskowitz, but I doubt if this is the
same person intervening on LBO-Talk. The Eli I knew liked to go to the
race-track and read Screw Magazine. We were good friends all through high
school, but have sort of drifted apart. His parents owned the New Roxy
Hotel in the Catskill Mountains, where I grew up. In the nightclub I had
the chance to hear comedians like Rodney Dangerfield growing up. When I
joined the Trotskyist movement, Eli got married and sold Encyclopedias door
to door. His wife threw him out when she found that he was bringing call
girls up to their apartment when she was out of town.

Come to think of it, it might be the same Eli Moskowitz.
