Gary,
Don't count on that, the so-called left in the US is unlikely to ever
find itself in such a position as it is irrelevant and lacks credibility.

Personally, I think Jose understands perfectly the concept of complicity
in the crimes of authority, for which the American public MAY one day be
held accountable. I suggest that until other nations of the world hold the
US accountable for its actions, whether in Vietnem or Chile or anywhere
else, there will continue to be an America unchecked by the bounds of reason
or humanity.

I do not anticipate American citizens having the foresight to take such
steps on their own. Neither are they likely to fully grasp the implications
of the policies of the U.S. government. So, all actions that can be
accomplished in other nations would surely be welcome in exposing the true
character of those policies.
