Yes, on second thought I would agree that armed struggle achieved more than
just the GFA, but those achievements were squandered. They got the Brits
to the table, but what did they do after that? They made direct rule from
London unsustainable, but what did they do after that?

They share the belief that if they just continue the armed struggle long
enough, the British will leave and Ireland will be reunited. As you say,
without a broader, socialist political struggle, that is unlikely.
