American liberals are *not* naive. Accordingly, I don't think that "tactical
differences have had a power to bind most American liberals and leftists" to
imperialism. The interests of American liberals are one and the same with the
hegemonic interests of US, no matter what liberals may differ from
conservatives in terms of tactic. American liberalism is and has been the
conscious designer of imperialism, not imperialism's unwanted child.

Liberalism equals imperialism. Imperialism does not bind liberals. On the
contrary, existence of liberals assure imperialism.
