What is more interesting why all this now pops up in the press: Obviously
the German government is sort of concerned about the image recent racist
assaults created outside Germany. So its a sort of defensive strategy to
blame the Stasi for it. But I do not think its rather convincing, if you
take into account the fact that the upsurge of neonazis in Germany happened
after the collapse of East Germany
