Re: [Invitation Liberation of Kuwait : X Anniversary ]

Dear Julio!

Thanks for this news item! It's nice to know that ExxonMobil is one of the
proud sponsors of the cause of "national liberation" now -- along with a lot
of other degenerate hollywood productions.

Just to show how out of touch I am with American-style virtual reality, I must
confess that before I opened your message, When I saw the title of your post
-- "10th anniversary of the liberation of Kuwait" -- I automatically assumed
you meant 2 August 1990 when the Iraqi Army swept in. I grant that 2 August
was a bit "commandist" in style as liberations go, but much less so than the
activity of the Red Army in 1944-45 in Eastern Europe. So I have definitely
added the Iraqi liberation of Kuwait to my list of progressive moments in
history.

Our enemies sometimes try to tell us that the struggle between Zionists and
Palestinians over Palestine is not between a "right" and a "wrong" but a
struggle between "two rights." (A point of view to which I respond with
something between a laugh and a choke.)

Anyhow, now we know that the struggle over Kuwait is one between "two
liberations"!!

Revolutionary greetings!

Abu Nasr
