As per Louis Proyect's comments on the Michael Hardt et al. panel,
the participant  Jamie Owen Daniel (University of Illinois, Chicago)
is the current (or most recent) head (president, chair, queen, ?)
of the Marxist Literary Group (MLG).
(She also stiffed me $40 for a pile of photographs I sent her from the
8th Conf. of Cuban & North American Philosophers & Social Scientists
1996  --a set of snapshots for which I charged cost only, and for which
another participant gladly paid in full, on time, plus with a present of
reproductions of Maoist propaganda posters from the 1970s).

the rest of the conference sure looks like a Glass Bead Game to me...
