Re: new Yugo war?
Carrol,
Clearly I was not expecting Business Week to approach the Yugoslav question
with a Marxist class analysis. Unfortunately since you completely misquoted
me you have made it look as though I was implying such. My point was there
was no meat in this article but just dull cliché and hyperbole that made it
identical to every other boring piece of imperialist propaganda. We already
know that Milosevic is the personification of the Four Horsemen of the
Apocalypse and that his sadistic nature makes him start wars here there and
everywhere in which he commits crimes like eating babies and making soap out
of corpses bla bla blaaa. This article was one of the worst and least
thoughtful pieces of propaganda and thereby its usefulness was nil compared
to any other average piece. For example, the propaganda of the Guardian was
much more interesting and useful from a Marxist point of view, so I
sincerely recommend you look through the archives some time
(http://www.newsunlimited.co.uk/).
Cheers - Owen
