Re: Doyle's question: What is at stake in Cuba?

Greetings Comrades,
Thanks Xxxx for the reply on Marxist Feminism. I want to put in my two
cents. I don't have the background often times to understand what is going
on with understanding how different kinds of feminisms clash with Marxism.
It was a revelation to me the distinction that you have made about
libertarianism feminism. I can much more readily understand how we differ
from "Radical Feminists". The distinction you make clear from Martha
Gimenez's work is very important stuff indeed.

I want to make this no secret that I think the core of the Marxist
movement must be awakening women to action now. This requires a shift in
thinking and tactics. Sexuality and gender issues are at the core of these
issues and we need to be clear about these issues. I think it time to
really bring these debates to the fore. In that sense I applaud what Carrol
Cox wrote that these debates ought to be taking place here on the Marxism
list.

I'm so glad you are here Mine. There is so much to learn. Comrades let
us build a great movement.
thanks,
Doyle Saylor
