I would be very grateful if you could find out, if one of the
english translations are still available on the market, and if the AMS
Press publication is being based on a newer edition of the book than
the Abraham de Leon translation; Bebel made changes for the 34th
edition in 1902. But it also may be that the Library of Congress made
an error when they recorded the translation by De Leon as being based
on the 33rd edition, and in reality it is based on the 34th, which
would, I think, be the last revision that Bebel made to his book.
I wonder about the reception Bebel's book found in the USA during
the upsurge of the feminist movement in the 1970ies.
