No, the presence of Doug & Harry Cleaver would actually muddle the
water. I have a different take on the subject than theirs, and you
had better argue with _me_, not with phantoms of the libertarian
opera. :) I should be a more challenging & engaging interlocutor
than they are, since our views are pretty close on many other
subjects.

P.S. My thinking on the matter hasn't changed for the last several
years, but arguing with Katha, etc. about the "mass rape camps"
stories dished out by the media in the course of the Yugoslav wars
has made me realize, more than ever, why it's important *not* to get
steamrolled by moralism to which liberals -- especially many
well-meaning feminists -- are given.
