If you're gonna talk about this stuff, you got to read some stuff. You may
not realize it, but you are repeating stuff that is not said by progressive
people in any of the Yugoslav republics. It is said by fascists and by people
who are on the US payroll, and are therefore speaking for an international
audience (to provide photo ops and quotable lines of authentic Yugoslavs
attacking Serbia...)

I'm writing (trying to write) a book called "Ten years of lies that fooled
the world" about Yugoslavia.  Here is a note from it:

" In "A shadow warrior", author Erich Schmidt-Eenboom talks about  Klaus
Kinkel, former Director of the BND, the German equivilant of the CIA.

"In chapter nine Kinkel explains that Germany began preparing the destruction
of Yugoslavia in the early 1960's. Mr. Kinkel was in charge of forging ties
with ultra-nationalist leaders in Croatia while that Republic was still part
of Communist Yugoslavia. Thus Croatian fascists like Franjo Tudjman received
full German support before they openly launched the campaign to secede. There
was financial, military and diplomatic assistance."

Throughout the Cold War the Croatian Ustashe (WWII fascists) stayed
organized, with the help of the BND and the CIA who pumped billions into
their efforts - the Vatican was involved too.  These elements were brought
back en masse in the late 80s early 90s to assist Tudjman in recreating the
Ustashe state.  Terror was used against ethnic Croats who resisted. (One of
the techniques: the Tudjman people ordered everyone in Split to put
checkerboard (fascist) flags in their windows.  The ones who didn't were
marked as antifascists and beaten or had their homes dynamited. 10,000 homes
were dynamited. The independent state of Croatia, declared in 1991 (June),
created a new constitution that made Serbs under-citizens.  They were fired
from jobs, beaten, driven from the republic.  The Serbian area called Krajina
was attacked - there the Croatian fascists did badly until the Serbian
leadership allowed the UN in.  None of this happened in Serbia.

These fascists appealed to anti-Serb racism which was NOT caused by Serbian
actions - is racxism ever caused by its victims? Croatian "nationalism" was
NOT the problem.  Racism was.  That provided the fascists with relatively
large base, and a larger group stayed "neutral."

All this occurred before the second half of 91.  Milosevich and his
"bureaucrats" were NOT nationalists in Serbia - Vuk Draskovic (opposition)
was. Milosevich was attacked as being pro-Yugoslav by the nationalists (who
are now allied with the US, not surprisingly - they were undoubtedly working
with US agencies back then too, since the US wanted to break up Yugoslavia)
The nationalists said "Let them secede, what do we care?"

The idea that Serbia oppressed Croatia is not only ludicrous, it is precisely
the line of the Croatian fascists - Tudjman's party.  Nobody else in
Yugoslavia but the Croatian and Slovenian fascists would dream of saying
something so preposterous.

The Serbs were and remain the farmers of Yugoslavia - small peasants mostly,
by the way.  That;s what they did in Bosnia and Krajina, too.
