If we started using honorifics on this list we'd be reproducing the
class/racial/sexual division of bourgeois society. I could insist on being
called Doctor or Professor Pino, (and incidentally, I outrank Dr. Andy on
the Academic food chain)but then I'd sound like Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
I prefer companero Julio Cesar or, since I've dropped my slave name,
Al-Assad Ibn Pino
