Good grief. Talk about elevating a mistake to a new level! That's a
position you would think they would want to quietly bury somewhere.

In hindsight, wasn't it an adaption to the Sandinistas? I remember this
revelation coming out in the heady days of the Nicaraguan Revolution,
before it ran aground on US hostility and the Soviet Union's lack of
support.
Thanks again Jose, for an informative and objective picture. Perhaps
someday out of all this mess a new socialist movement can be built in the
USA. Certainly the young people I saw at the SUNY Teach-in last spring give
cause for hope.
