ETA and the Basque Struggle
- Subject: ETA and the Basque Struggle
- From: "Jay Moore" <research@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Comrades -- I just received the unsolicited abusive email below, from
someone "out there" who describes himself as a "Marxist". I guess he was
pissed because I have some links to the ETA on my Web site. In any case, he
was unwilling to dialogue. Would anyone on this List care to comment on
recent events in Spain?
best,
jay

Hi,
I myself come from a Spanish and Basque antifascist family, and I´m also
involved with REAL revolutionary movements. So don´t dare patronize me, Jay.
Some three years ago one of those fascists killed Tomás y Valiente, who had
also been a lifetime antifascist fascist.
Because I´m a marxist, I hate to deal with fascists in disguise, who shoot
people in the back. Like ETA.
Fortunately, I´m a Mexican citizen. But I´m worried to hear than my country
has become a sort of haven for ETA terrorists (I´m afraid there´s not a word
that can describe them best.) I just hope this is not true. If you know
people belonging to ETA in Mexico, give them a good advice: tell them to
stay clear. If I ever come across one of these guys, I´ll happily turn him
in to Interpol. And if they get a bullet in the head, just like the
socialist leader they murdered yesterday, well that´s fine with me. So be
it.
There is no need to continue this conversation. If you were Henry Moore I
may certaintly be interested in having a lengthy conversation. But you´re
not: Henry Moore is dead. And I honestly doubt that you could enlighten me
in any way. Phoney humanists like ETA psychopaths and their defendants just
do a lot of damage to marxism, which is the highest form of and humanism.
