Dear comrades:

I rarely use the word these days.

However, I value this list, and Lou's work in making
it serve as a serious and intelligent talk-shop for
marxists. I can call the participants on this list
comrades.

I also value Tony Abdo's commentary - especially on
immigration and border issues. I think Tony is closer
to the mark than most people on the left in and out of
the US on these issues.

I think that Lou would make a very big mistake kicking
Tony off of this list because of his undiplomatic, and
at least in part - false - characterizations of the
views of left groups that Lou would like to have
participate on this list.

I do not condone Tony's broad brush, and I think tony
should burn that brush and stick to articulating his
own views, rather than mischaracterizing those of
others.
