ne suis pas un Reichian. I do disagree that "if you present a diagnosis ,
you must also present the cure." Freud showed tremendous insights into the
decadence of the bourgeois world in "Civilizations and its Discontents",
viz, that the horror  the bourgeosie unleashed in WWI could only lead to
more horror, as not just soldiers but civilians became inured to mass
killings.But did Freud and his followers have a program for stoppping this,
one that could be passed on to Marxists? No, but that doesn't mean Marxists
can't learn from him. (Significantly, Stalin banned Freud in the
USSR---what was he afraid of?)
   Since you like to offer challenges I'll send off one of my own; tell me
exactly how Peronism resembled Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany.
BTW, I must decline your previous challenge to "come up with a mathematical
formula, using myth as my guide, to explain why the Greek Junta of 1967
failed to stay in power." I am not St. Thomas Aquinas.
