Now, wait a minute. I have read little Reich. I do not believe that
he can be seriously considered an organizer or a foundation for a
mass political upheaval against capitalism. But when Reich pointed to
the sexually repressive features of a formation as an important thing
that must be taken into account when describing it, he was right.
"Land, bread and sex" may sound -and does sound- ridiculous. But this
does not mean that "bread and sex", that is "production and
reproduction of human beings" can be reasonably considered -either
you approve or disapprove of the Freudian framework- the two most
basic human needs, as a natural species. They are the most basic
needs of every living creature.

Marxists should not watch the stomach only (which is allright), but
also another parts of our body. Aren't we a unity of the diverse?

Excuse me, but there is some flaw here: were the German bourgeois a
"weaker and less-established" bourgeoisie in the 30s? Concretely, was
Mr. Thyssen weaker and less-established than, say, M. Renault?

Permitting a fascist movement to attain political power so

The "hard choice toward fascism" is, yes, a function of the
complexities of the situation a bourgeoisie is traversing during a
crisis. But fascist methods are built into capitalism, even in those
formations where "strong, more established" bourgeoisies prevail. The
only trick is that these methods are exported to their colonies. Just
think of French rule over, say, Guinea; or English rule over India;
or American rule over Puerto Rico. Herr Hitler had a lot to learn
from these democratic guys. Then he concentrated the stuff and
administered it to peoples within "privileged" Europe. That is not
all that there is to the question, but that is _most_ of what there
is.
