I think I can agree with most of what Lou Paulsen has written, but just want
to add one aspect from an European perspective:
If we focus our criticism on the US involvment and on the US-sponsored
present governemnt of Rwanda, dont we let French and Belgian imperialism off
the hook?
IMHO what has happened in recent years around the Great Lakes in Africa is
just a (neo-) imperialist power struggle between the US and Europe.
