An experience of a grad-school friend provides the only comment one
can make on such a statement as this. My friend was taking a course
in the romantic poets, and for the first half of the semester the only
poet they read was Wordsworth, and of course all the quesitons on
the mid-term were on Wordsworth. When my friend got his exam
back, it was marked with a D. He went to the professor to inquire
the reason for the low grade. The professor's reply: "You didn't
say Wordsworth was the author of the poems you discussed."
My friend said, "I opened my mouth -- and then shut it, because
if he could say that, then nothing I could say could possibly make
any difference." In response to a statement so profoundly anti-marxist
as Henry's, nothing one can say could possibly make a difference.

Henry -- have you ever read so much as a page from Marx? This
is an incredible post to be faced with on a list labelled "Marxism."
