Why? I suppose if I reported that I enjoyed reading Sara Paretsky's
crime fiction you would ask me what its relevance was to proletarian
dictatorship. What have you done lately to get U.S. troops out of
South Korea? What have you done lately to free unionists imprisoned
in South Korea? What have you done lately about oppression in the
Philippines?

What do you mean by Proletarian Dictatorship? Is it a Platonic template
to be applied mindlessly regardless of historical conditions. Unless you
can show that this is the case, how do we know that you are not
just trying to overload the panix server, since only on this basis have
you anything to say or any question to ask.

There is an easy way to avoid having red-baiting charges thrown
around. Stop interrogating people's motives, stop asking them
to deal with Issue A before letting them even mention Issue B.
I expect this kind of nonsense on LBO, but on a list labelled
marxism one would expect people to stick to issues rather than
throwing up barriers to discussion.
