Police brutality in MIAMI - do we care?

Comrades:
    A close friend reports from the streets of Little
Havana incidents of police brutality quite similar to
those in D.C. which have been so indignantly reported
on this list.  He himself (a Leftist of sorts and
definitely no gusano) was maced, knocked to the
ground,
and kicked in the stomach while merely walking down
the
street during a police sweep.  He has seen many peace-
ful protesters beaten and arrested for no reason.
He wondered what I, and those on this list (from which
I often forward him things) thought about such
brutality when those subject to it were people we
disliked.  What DO you all think about it?
