Hey Jack and Donna,

Thanks for all your postings. I read all of them and am grateful that you
follow some of this internet (email distribution) work.

On your last posting I had a small point regarding the demands around Elian's
final return. I think we should demand Juan Miguel's right to immediate
leave. They should not have to spend one day in the US waiting for the
outcome of a skewed and entirely politicized "judicial process" that in law
does not have any juridstiction -- especially now that Elian has been
reunited.Since the Cubans and Juan Miguel have consented to participate in
this process as a way to get Elian back we are, of course, supportive of any
strategy that they employ. But our movement must demand that the imperialist
government immediately end this disgusting charade regarding the "legal
process."

This may seem like hairsplitting but I do believe the Cuban side should
insist on an expedited process and we should demand an immediate end to the
process.

Anyway, that's it . See you soon.  P.S. -- We had an interesting branch
meeting following the mass arrests. Maybe you can get a better report or the
video or something.
