Re: Fwd: Mugabe denounces white farmers as enemies of state

It was Mugabe who made this violence inevitable, by allowing the best farm
lands in Zimbabwe to remain in white hands in return for Britain
recognizing his regime, a capitalist one-party state beholden to he IMF.
Now, after strikes and land occupations have shaken the country, he
hypocritically poes as an ally of "war veterans" and other landless black
farmers. Zimbabwe is thus a preview of what we can expect to see in South
Africa in the not-too-distant future, and if you doubt this, read Louis's
post from today on how Mbeki is cozying up to the Ranlords and vice-versa.
