I'm not sure that an upturn in Indonesia would do the trick. I think we
may be stuck with waiting for the US to get it together, at least if we
want a sustained radicalisation. It's just a case of where the cultural
influences come from, I suspect.
And then there are the questions of what might occur during a period of
radicalisation... What kind of political currents would grow, or appear?
I suspect that the real success story would be the ALP, that is, the
liberal party of Australian imperialism. But of course there would be more
scraps for us scavengers.
