While I don't follow John Lacny's contributions to this list, I am
getting tired of both Louis P.'s desire to be a non-sectarian _jefe
maximo_ and Jared I.'s return from the political dead as an
anti-Leninist (on the national question, that is) racist.

Lou, you remind me of a talk show host with his finger on the cutoff
button, which is particularly wrong-headed for someone with absurd
illusions in the ability of an e-mail list made up mainly of academics
to somehow reconstitute the international Marxist left, a job which will
be done by a reinvigorated workers movement from Asia to Russia and
Eastern Europe to Latin America to Southern Africa, and maybe even the
imperialist countries.

I'll miss the comments of thoughtful comrades like Jose P., Patrick B.
and others, but unsub me from the list.
