I can answer this. It was because he was looking for an excuse to be thrown
off, according to Michael Pugliese.

Even if you took all of half a minute to purge John, who was looking to
leave your list. Wishb You'd given me a good fuck off and die e-mail when I
left was unsubbed. I did post some good shit along with my deliberetely more
