I believe he taught at my alma mater SFU in Vancouver for a number of
years. He, like all the other Marxists save a few, was fired. I heard he
had his passport stolen by some radical students of his who then got
involved in
C.America in a big way. They ended up getting life in prison in Brasil
for kidnapping a supermarket magnate to raise funds for the FMLN. This
was mid-80's. I should probably send these kinds of posts offlist.
